Aqualyx is a fat dissolving treatment that targets fat removal from certain areas. Excess fat in stubborn areas can be an issue for many men and women, despite exercise and a good diet. These fatty areas sometimes just don’t want to budge, but the likes of liposuction may seem too extreme a solution. That’s when Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections can help! An alternative to liposuction is Aqualyx Lipotherapy: a fat removal therapy which reduces stubborn fat deposits in notoriously tricky areas such as the stomach, outer and inner thighs, and the chin area. HOW DO FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS WORK? AQUALYX is injected directly into the fat tissue. The molecule is encased in a sugar coating which helps to release the substance slowly and minimise side effects. The procedure is generally not uncomfortable and most patients report discomfort levels of 1-3 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being severe). The solution is mixed with a local anaesthetic to keep any discomfort to an absolute minimum while we are dissolving away the stubborn areas of fat. After dissolution of the targeted fat cells, the body expels the fatty acids naturally through the urine. Following treatment, you will experience swelling and redness in the area where the fat has been dissolved for a few weeks. This starts to settle after a few days and is normally gone in 3-4 weeks. You may have some discomfort, but this is not usually severe. A little bruising is expected. You should not exercise for 5 days and some patients find mild compression clothing helps for non-facial treatment areas. A low-fat diet can help to increase the effectiveness of AQUALYX. The rest of your treatment will be payed on the day and your deposit subtracted. If you decide on the day you want more than one area, this is no problem at all, payment can be changed accordingly.
